Everyone’s personal rating system is different so I thought it’d be a good idea to explain mine a little better.
Golden-tipped Stake (5+): I’ll rarely give out a golden-tipped stake. No offence, but I reserve that for the most sacred and special books I come across. Gold-tipped to me, means above and beyond everything i.e. the holy grail of all books.
Five Stakes: The best of the best! Buy it immediately. You wont be sorry!
Four Stakes: I loved it! & definitely will be recommending it.
Three Stakes: Good book – worthy of your shelf.
Two Stakes: I was able to finish it but didn’t care much for it. Read at your own risk.
One Stake: Couldn’t finish it.
